Ambient Canvas for macOS

A full-screen screensaver that translates your local solar geometry and live weather into quiet, architectural data art.

Install

  1. Unzip the download and double-click AmbientCanvas.saver.
  2. macOS will ask whether to install it for this user, so choose Install, then pick Ambient Canvas in System Settings → Screen Saver.

If macOS blocks it

This build isn't notarised yet, so Gatekeeper may refuse to open it on first launch. Either right-click AmbientCanvas.saver and choose Open, or clear the quarantine flag in Terminal after installing: 

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Library/Screen\ Savers/AmbientCanvas.saver

The Circadian Sun view is free. The Topography view requires a membership key, so learn about membership.
