The Topography Membership

The Topography view shifts the canvas from astronomy to fluid meteorology. Where the Circadian Sun traces the clean, predictable geometry of the sky, Topography renders the invisible, chaotic weight of the atmospheric ocean we live inside, drawing live weather data as layered, architectural contour art.

What membership unlocks

Five live weather variables for your exact coordinates, each rendered as a terrain layer over a rolling 6, 12 or 24-hour window. Live now in the macOS screensaver, with a Chrome extension and iOS widget coming soon:

  • Atmospheric pressure — high, stable skies lift expansive ridgelines; incoming lows compress them into tense basins.
  • Temperature — the day's thermal curve traced as a contour band.
  • Wind speed — calm air draws long, sweeping paths; gusts distort them into jagged peaks.
  • Wind direction — the compass swing of the air above you.
  • Cloud cover — density bleeding through the layers as soft ambient fields.

Monthly membership

Membership is billed monthly and unlocks Topography everywhere Ambient Canvas runs. While membership is in its founding period, keys are issued personally by email.

How your key works

  1. Request a key with the sign-up form above. It arrives by email.
  2. Open System Settings → Screen Saver → Ambient Canvas → Options and paste it into the Membership key field.

A Chrome new-tab extension and an iOS widget are coming soon, and your key will unlock Topography there too.

Questions

Is the screensaver still free?
Yes. The screensaver download and the Circadian Sun view are free, and always will be. Membership only applies to the Topography view.
What does membership unlock?

How do I enter my key?
Open System Settings → Screen Saver → Ambient Canvas → Options and paste the key into the Membership key field.
Does it renew? Can I cancel?
Membership renews monthly and you can cancel anytime. Your key simply stops working at the end of the paid period, and the free Circadian Sun view keeps running as normal.
